Donna Steigleder created Becoming a Family Caregiver from a desire to reach out to other wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, family, and others who daily provide care to someone in their homes. Being a family caregiver is an extremely difficult job. Donna had the advantage of being a nurse and working in a hospital when she became a caregiver. But unfortunately, most caregivers don’t have those resources. Wanting to find a way to make those resources available in some way accessible to all ages and socio-economic groups, Donna came up with the idea of this website.

Learn about Donna Steigleder’s background and credentials, including her personal and professional work history and life experiences that qualify her to speak to the topics presented. Then, follow her on her caregiving journey as you see how God prepared her for her role, starting long before the need became a reality. God had a plan in mind all along – one to prepare, strengthen, and support her before she faced the biggest challenges of her life.
